I have purged all cookies from within the browser, then have surfed your site without any problem. Actually YACS does not rely so much on cookies. The main one is the PHPSESSID which is managed directly by the PHP run-time. The other cookie you mentioned is only used to avoid logins, no more. The white screen syndroma you are experiencing cannot be related to cookies, in my opinion. Usually this is coming from some internal error on server side due to an ilegal call or similar. Have you asked your ISP to show you the Apache error log?

Rancov: Another site has hit exactly the same issue, and the problem was that there was no more available disk space. Therefore uploaded images were not properly saved in the temporary directory, and YACS reported bad image files... Have you checked the available space at your site?

Dobliu: I cleaned out the old files and proceeded to reinstall. I believe this problem is related to two things. One, being on a server with the install directory nested deeper than root and the machine you are installing from having some enhanced level of security for cookies being enabled. That said, I made sure that my Firefox had an exception for the site to set cookies (in fact, I now think I should enable another exception down to the install directory) before proceeding to install.

Once I ddi this, the install went perfectly. I am enjoying the system immensely. The whole organizatio of the structure seems so much more intuitve that e107 or xoops, both very worhty tools in their own right.

Thank you for your contribution. I am working on setting up the site, once I get there, I will announce on the forum.
