First YACS Install, issue setting max file size upload
Started by Neale Justin, edited by Christian Loubechine on Mar. 11 2009

Justin: The first thing to do is to ask your sysadmin to align the two parameters, since post_max_size has to be at least equivalent of upload_max_filesize...
Second, if you upload a file in the path inbox/files/myfile.zip, then its URL should be http://www.server.com/inbox/files/myfile.zip or http://www.server.com/yacs/inbox/files/myfile.zip
Whatever link works for you, this is the one you have to give to yacs. In the form to add a file, do not use the first field (=file upload), but the second instead (=file reference), and paste the full URL there. Add file size (in bytes) just below and hit the submit button.

Enabling bulk upload of attachments or images

I would like to see a feature created that would let me select more than one file at a time for attachment to a page or section.
Yes this sounds a great feature, something I want, as I have hundreds of images waiting to be uploaded.
I also like the way you upload pictures at ebay: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/s..._tutorial3.html#standard_basic
Could be a great opportunity to use AJAX to dynamically add extra fields to upload images and create thumbnail previews.
As well as upload, further options could be upload from a zip, or look in a folder in /inbox.
