Jan, I suspect that your configuration is still looking for www.yetanothercommunitysystem.com instead of www.yacs.fr and that this has corrupted many files during the update.
Can you please download the last archive instead, explode it at your hard drive, and push files with FTP to your server ? This should fix at least the rendering issue with CSS.
