* Actually, YACS speaks both text/xml and application/rss+xml -  Some time ago I posted an article YACS provides RSS newsfeeds as text/xml, and this is a deliberate choice. Well, it looks now that information provided at that time is not complete, and therefore, not completely true ::)

* How to monitor a YACS server using RSS? -  Actually it is almost as simple as the usual subscription to any RSS feed. We only have added some HTTP authentication to restrict access to associates.

How to use Awasu with yacs? -  "Awasu (TM) is a free Windows news-reader that runs in the background on your computer and monitors these sites for you.
