SITA / EUROCONTROL collaboration
An extranet site simplifying and enhancing productivity of day to day by business of SITA, EUROCONTROL teams.
The website is used as joint document repository for the SITA Account Team, SITA‘s support units and the customer.
Prior of launching the website, regular exchange of documents by email to different distribution lists and seperate document storage at SITA and customer facilities resulted into a flood of large emails, or non-receipt to certain individuals as well as different versions of documents.
The server is also used as ftp-server, allowing field engineers to download the latest/current PC image and customer applications rather than physical distribution (to 110+ remote sites) of DVD/CDs (ITIL DML).
