img tag in posts?

I'd like to use "external" images in posts, including as link images

For example, can I get the equivalent of an img tag in a post, either by way of embedding html tags directly, with a YACS code I can't find?

Also, is there a way to include general html markup in a post?

You can use the UBB code img, like in: [img]http://pied.au.plancher.free.fr/dakar/images/1261zani.jpg[/img]

which transforms to


All HTML tags are stripped, except from associates.
