Good, had a weird few weeks. Brother-in-law wedding, then grandma-in-law died a few days after, then spent a few days away camping on the coast with family.
Scarlett is BIG - 73cm tall only 7 months only.

By the way, I have planned to switch to another laptop, based on Mac OS X. Very curious to test this flavor of Unix as a software development environment.

No, Currently XP. I like OS X though. I have an old iMAC on my desktop collecting dust.

Yes, this is the right way to go.
Upload an archive directly from the web form, or through FTP in the inbox/yacs directory

The numbering scheme deserves some explanation...
8.6 is for June of 2008
beta is what i am supposed to deliver...
the next number is the day in month for the release
I had to stop at the end of June, and restart on July
Therefore, the 8.6beta30.21 is the archive generated on the 21st of July, ten days ago...

Of course, this is working because we won't have a 8.7 version, and switch directly to the 8.8 during August.

In the background of this chat i am updating the SVN repository at Google Code.
Earlier today files used for translation have been updated as well.

The only missing part is the update of this site, but I will do that after the end of this chat
Actually a very large portion of the software has been reviewed, checked, improved, etc.
Just to give some examples of most recent improvements:
  • some scripts have been added yesterday to help customize the .htaccess through a web interface

  • the purge of links added through RSS feeds is now ok

  • some queries have been proven slow in the module for links, and this has been updated two days ago..

etc.
