Hi Justin.
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Ok, sorry about that.
Justin - on June 19 2008
DOn't think we actually own an airline anywhere but we do work for them!
NJ - on June 19 2008
Oh...........that is like the communications links like SITA text and stuff?
NickR - on June 19 2008

Justin - on June 19 2008

NJ - on June 19 2008
I did some consulting for them in Montreal a couple or years ago
NickR - on June 19 2008
OK then.
What topics do would everyone like to discuss tonight ?
NJ - on June 19 2008
We made a new YACS site, www.write2imageplus.com and I would like to get rid of the powered by YACS on the front page side bar.
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
When creating an image as the page icon in YACS, is there a way to position the image a certain way on the page?
NickR - on June 19 2008
NJ first.

Hi Christian
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
That is very nice NJ, thank you.
NickR - on June 19 2008
Deb, I am just checking, I know you can do it with all images via css style, but do you want all or just one image ?
NJ - on June 19 2008
Hi Christian
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Just one, mR. RHODES
NickR - on June 19 2008
I don't think there is a way to set just one icon :(
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
I apologize for the caps
NJ - on June 19 2008
That sucks
NickR - on June 19 2008
I assume you would like it to be left or right ?
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Thank you for your answer...........it is unfortunate that it can't be done one picture at a time. Is it possible that this may be something we can do in the future?
Yes, you are correct. When I uploaded a picture to the site, on one page it is perfectly centered and the way I would like it to be, other times it is shifted to the left and cuts off part of the picture
NickR - on June 19 2008
Are these images you have set as icons ?
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Yes, I am setting them as page icons with no thumbnail and not resizing the image
If it helps, the site I am referring to is www.write2imageplus.com, if you notice under "presentation" tab, the pictures are located in different areas of the page, not that drastic but drastic enough. I would like to center each on the page.
NickR - on June 19 2008
Cheers Deb, much clearer now.
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
I always find that sometimes showing what you are talking about helps.
NickR - on June 19 2008
I do not think icons are intended to be shown as full size images.
Deb smith - on June 19 2008

NickR - on June 19 2008
Am guessing you want to display the images full size rather than thumbnail size ?
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Does that mean I will have to do a CSS feed
Yes, we would like the picture to be as big as possible, the bigger the better
I meant Cascade Style Sheet, I apologize.
NickR - on June 19 2008
What I think would be better is when you insert an image on the page, you can do it with an image tag and currently there is options for left, centre and right, it might be good to be able to specify full or max size to force full size display instead of thumbnail.
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Instead of making it the page ICON, do you mean to place it in the "content" portion of the page and reference the image there i.e. ?
is that what you are referring to?
Cool...................thank you Nick
NickR - on June 19 2008
Yes in the page content.
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Thank you Nick.
NickR - on June 19 2008
Deb, it would be good if you can make a feature request at http://www.yetanothercommunity...ew-requirements
Deb smith - on June 19 2008
Great.............will do.
NickR - on June 19 2008
OK NJ, your next
Is that powered by yacs only showing on the homepage ?
NJ - on June 19 2008
Thanks, On the www.write2imageplus.com.........on the first page there is a "powered by Yacs" on the side margin. I understan and agree that "powered by YACS" should be on the bottom of each page, but having 2 times on the fron page is too much.........how can we get rid of the "powered" by Yacs" on the sidebar?
Nick..........yes only on homepage
NickR - on June 19 2008
Yes it can be removed, I am just looking where the code is, I think it can be done by modifying one of the skin files.
NJ - on June 19 2008
Thank you
