Is it a good idea to reinstall the new yacs.

I am running the 7.6.3 version at this moment and like it.

What is new in the 7.10 version and will it work with the 7.6.3 database backup.

PS: Is it possible to start a dutch section over here at yacs.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Earlier this week I upgraded my site to 7.10 from 7.6.3 and the upgrade worked fine, apart from a memory issue with generating an AJAX file, see Tabs in control panel and member profile for more info and fix.

A lot of work has gone into integrating AJAX (with really good integrated chat), but also numerous small updates, I think permissions has been enhanced to cascade into sub sections and then there's been SEO work, improving url generation and html output is even better. There are probably other changes that I've not noticed.
